This 2013 Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium in Twilight Blue Metallic has 143k miles, but the replacement engine we installed is a 2015 with only 99k miles. Also installed a cooler for the CVT (transmission) fluid, which we've found very helpful for this particular model year. Installed both front and rear brake rotors, both front and rear brake pads, and a LH rear wheel bearing. Recharged the A/C and replaced a TPMS sensor.

17" alloy wheels with a set of 4 Douglas All-Season tires have 6/32" tread remaining in front (about 50%), and 4-5/32" in back (about 25%). (10/32" is new, and 2/32" means Replace Now.) We rotated the tires for you, putting the deeper tread in front.

This car represents Subaru's 4th generation of Outbacks, named by Motortrend as the "SUV of the Year." Its maximum cargo capacity, with 34.3/71.3 cubic feet (back seats up/down) rivals other classic SUVs on the market. And as for legroom and headroom, it's just plain roomy. Try it out.

Driver's seat height (adjustable) averages about 25" off the ground. Its ground clearance of 8.7 inches makes it not only easy to get in and out of, but along with the all-wheel drive, makes it a great vehicle for all seasons, including Midwest winters.

Automatic (CVT) transmission with optional manual mode and paddle shifters. Its double wishbone rear suspension makes for a smoother ride.

Fog lights. Luggage roof rails with pivoting fold-away crossbars.

All-Weather Package includes heated front seats, plus defrosting outside mirrors & windshield wiper de-icers which turn on when rear defrost button is pushed. 10-way power driver seat including power lumbar support. Tilt and telescoping leather-wrapped steering wheel. Flip-down rear armrest and beverage holder. Rear seats recline as well as fold down for more cargo space.

The 6-speaker stereo system has handsfree Bluetooth connectivity for your phone and wireless audio streaming. The steering wheel has audio, Bluetooth, phone, and cruise control buttons. A USB port plus a 1/8" aux jack are in the center console.

There are 3 12v power outlets: in the front console, center console, and rear cargo area.

A trip computer in the dashboard / instrument panel measures fuel economy: it averaged 27.0 mpg over 300 miles (see photos).

For stability and safety, Subaru's Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) system monitors the direction of the car compared to the intended steering direction. It compensates by braking individual wheels and/or altering fuel flow to the engine. Also, the Traction Control System (TCS) senses if any wheels are skidding and redirects power only to those wheels having the best traction.

This model was a Top Safety Pick for 2013 by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. It comes with six airbags (including side-curtain ones) as well as Brake Assist.
